Sanica Apte

Executive Producer • Director • Content Strategist

Hi, I'm Sanica!

I'm an Executive Producer & Director in Los Angeles. I've spent the last six years producing content for the world's biggest brands: GoDaddy, Marriott, Salesforce, Buzzfeed, and Stripe.

I currently work as an Executive Producer and Global Marketing Manager at Casual Films, an enterprise video production agency. I joined Casual as a Production Assistant in 2018 and have been promoted six times in six years. Currently, I manage all of Casual's integrated marketing campaigns - brand video content, social media, email, website, white papers, webinars, and three outbound sales development agencies.

As Executive Producer, I led my team to be the highest-grossing team in the business. Through a meticulous focus on client-first service, a deep understanding of their business needs, and a fastidious work ethic, I pitched and won $3M+ of revenue. I line-managed a team of ten, overseeing our operations, revenue, content output, and provided creative direction on all of our team's projects.

The greatest joy of my career has been telling stories in all shapes and sizes. I have interviewed hundreds of entrepreneurs for GoDaddy as part of a four-year branded storytelling campaign for YouTube and social that won a Digiday Content Marketing Award. I’ve produced projects on injection molding, robotics, data security, and semiconductors. Whatever the topic, telling stories that matter is what I’m happiest doing.

Before Casual, I worked at a boutique enterprise-tech PR firm called Offleash and a content marketing agency called Fractl. I graduated from Boston University with a B.A in Economics in 2016, earning a student Emmy Award for BUTV10's coverage of the Syrian Refugee Crisis.
